Job Description

Position Overview  

Café Zaffri, in the soon-to-be-open Hotel Twenty Two, is looking for a dedicated, detail & guest-oriented, curious, proactive, and organized team player. Café Zaffri is a part of Elizabeth Street Hospitality (Raf’s & Musket Room). The bartender will support the beverage service on the floor and will be involved in the cellar management. The bartender will also participate in tastings and staff training.

 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in hospitality, preferably in a fine–dining restaurant, and a solid understanding of the basics of the wine, spirits, and beverage world.

Hourly rate $11 an hour + tips.

Admin day: Hourly admin rate

Position Overview  

The Cafe Zaffri Bartender embodies a warm, genuine sense of hospitality and will be responsible for preparing and garnishing various alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages while guiding guests . Cafe Zaffri bartenders provide approachable, knowledgeable and attentive service while upholding every aspect of the established “Cafe Zaffri ” standards.  

 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in bartending – preferably fine dining restaurant , a solid understanding of the basics of the wine, spirits and beverage world.

Base Salary  

Hourly rate dependent on experience & role + tips.  

 

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the below:  

  • Mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications for guests  
  • Keeping the bar stocked and clean while always providing friendly and attentive service  
  • Adhering to company standards for serving alcoholic beverages  
  • Taking accurate beverage orders from guests  
  • Delivering beverages to guests in a timely manner ; ensuring that all orders are presented and delivered correctly  
  • Being ready and willing to assist fellow team members to maintain the smooth operation of the event  
  • Upholding service standards to ensure a memorable guest experience  
  • Maintaining and upholding our company's vision and values  
  • Demonstrating a passion for details and a willingness to learn  
  • Taking part in pre-service duties and applicable closing duties  
  • Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment, including prep rooms, bars, and service areas
